LEAD PASTOR
Jared Pavlu
Jared Pavlu is the Lead Pastor of Point Church. He and his wife, Jennifer, have three children: Brenton, Ramsey, and Emrie. Pastor Jared is a licensed minister of the United Pentecostal Church International. In 2017, Pastor Jared became Lead Pastor and oversees the ministries of the church. In addition to preaching and teaching regularly, he is passionate about all things technology and music!

Pastor Jared holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and an MBA from LSUS.

Jared and Jen Pavlu
Jared Pavlu is the Lead Pastor of Point Church. He and his wife, Jennifer, have three children: Brenton, Ramsey, and Emrie. In 2020, Jared and Jen took over the Lead Pastoral role and together they oversee the ministries of the church.
Jared is an ordained minister of the United Pentecostal Church International. Jared holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and an MBA from LSUS. In addition to preaching and teaching regularly, he is passionate about all things technology, music, and family!

Jen holds a B.S. in Graphic Arts from Northwestern State University. She has served as Creative Director since 2008, and Worship Pastor since 2009. She loves music, singing, and being a mom!
BISHOP
Rick and Beverly Pavlu
Rick Pavlu is the Bishop of Point Church. He and his wife, Beverly, have three children: Corrie, Jared, and Layna; and seven grandchildren: Hudson, Graham, Brenton, Ramsey, Jack, Emrie, and Grant. Pastor Pavlu was ordained as a minister of the United Pentecostal Church International in 1978. After evangelizing for three years, he became the pastor of Point Church where he was pastor for 40 years. He retired as Sr. Pastor in January of 2020.

​Pastor Pavlu holds a B.S. in Botany and an M.S. in Plant Systematics, both from Louisiana Tech University. He is also the author of two books, Evolution: When Fact Became Fiction and Kids Under Construction. Both are available on Amazon.

Beverly Pavlu served as Music Director for over 20 years at Point Church. She was vital to growing ministries and growing leaders for 40 years. She enjoys music, gardening and her grandkids!
